LAGOS – A group of prominent Nollywood actors and filmmakers has come under intense public scrutiny following the official launch of the "Eko 57 Movement," a political initiative aimed at mobilizing support for President Bola Tinubu’s administration ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The movement, which held its inaugural ceremony in Lagos on Sunday, is led by popular actor and social media personality Lege Miami. The group features a roster of veteran industry figures, including Kunle Afolayan, Yomi Fash-Lanso, Ayo Adesanya, and Remi Surutu, among others.
